I’ve always been jealous of people who own dogs that LOVE to swim. I’ve had four dogs in the course of my lifetime and all of them hated going in the water. I’d envy my friends who could throw a tennis ball into a lake or pool and have their dog JOYFULLY jump in after.
Genius Seth Casteel took these shots underwater. Something I’ve never seen done before. The faces are hilarious. Enjoy!

Lisa Frank.. queen of the 90s has decided to make clothing for adults. First of all where was this when I was a kid. I wanted a plastic covered colored unicorn fleece and or flannel hat!
Girls (and boys, hey – no judgement) of the 90’s – Rejoice!
Holy Unicorns! Lisa Frank is Making Clothes for Adults : Lucky Magazine.
There are two types of Disney people. The one’s that think that it’s just for little kids and the ones like me. The one’s that think back on their childhood, their memories and everything Walt Disney stood for. The art of making Dreams Come True.
Watch the video below as you see the best parents ever surprise their daughter Lily with a trip to Disneyland. It’s her birthday and she has one special backpack full of magic to open. Her reaction is priceless. If you’re a Disney lover, you’ll definitely tear up. I’m pretty sure I’d have the same reaction today.
Oh I remember the day, when lunches were always packed by Mommy. It was always a surprise to sit down in the cafeteria and open up my Cinderella Pink lunch box (and when I was “too cool” a brown paper bag) to see what treasures were inside.
Was it fruit, veggies, a sandwich, leftover meatloaf or when I was really lucky a pizza lunchable!
No doubt kids these days look for things that we all did when we were young. A little post-it or sticker with a note. Back then, it used to be a smilie or a “Love you!” Now, parents are getting creative. From sticking googly eyes and smiles on bananas to drawing pictures or even reminding your child they are loved. What better way to bring a smile to a mid day break than sneaking a note in your kids lunch. The Wall Street Journal did an article
this morning explaining the way the classic lunch note has evolved.
So many parents with so many brilliant ideas. Disney
even created downloadable notes with recognizable characters if you’re at a loss for words. (love those guys!) Surely, Lightning McQueen saying “Don’t eat too fast!” will bring cheer to your little boy or girl. Pottery Barn Kids
has also jumped on the bandwagon!
What type of notes did your parents leave you as a child? And what notes are you doodling for your little ones?
Another one of the many reasons I’m looking forward to X Factor, US edition. Talk about a touching story..
Emmanuel Kelly auditioned for X Factor overseas and had quite the life experience to share with the world. When asked his age, he said “I don’t really know”. With puzzled looks in the audience he begins to tell his life struggles. He was born in a War Zone of Iraq and was found in a shoebox with his brother. They were taken to an orphanage where an angel in disguise adopted them both and gave them a great life in Australia. They have missing limbs but that didn’t take a way for their sprits.
Nor, did it take away from Emmanuel’s dream to one day be a star. He does a great rendition of John Lennon’s smash hit – Imagine.
So moving, watch his full audition below. Be thankful for what you have, it doesn’t really hit home until you see the difficult lives of others to appreciate how fortunate you truly are.
